Biography:
Karen (Strandberg) Brue, of Carmel, NY, formerly of Yonkers, sadly passed away on March 19, 2024 after a brief illness. She was 82 years old. Karen was born in Yonkers on August 20, 1941 to the late Clifford and Gertrude Strandberg. She attended PS 27, Hawthorne Jr. HS and graduated from Yonkers High School of Commerce. She married the love of her life Kenny Brue on October 1, 1961. He sadly pre deceased her in 2009. She is survived by her loving children Patricia Brue Young of Carmel and Robert Brue of Yonkers, and her adored grandchildren Kristen, Brianne, Kenneth and Megan Young Donations preferred to St. Jude Children`s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,Memphis, TN, 38105, which was an organization near and dear to her heart.
